Meet Our TeamOur Front Desk Team MaryWhen you come to our office it’s likely the first person you will see is Mary, our scheduling coordinator, dental assistant, artist, and pretty much whatever else we need since 2017. Raised here in Bremerton, Mary work for Fred Meyer for many years, and credits her excellent customer service skills to her experience there. She completed dental assisting school and began a new career in dentistry, and she loves being part of the family here at Pacific Ave Dental. Mary is a huge Disney fan, and visits Disneyland with her family every chance she gets. She also enjoys arts and crafts, shopping, Scentsy, and Netflix, and making patients feel comfortable and happy when visiting Pacific Ave Dental.  MykaOur office manager Myka has been with Pacific Ave Dental since 2017. She grew up in Kingston, WA, and has lived in Kitsap County all her life. Graduating as a certified dental assistant from Clover Park Technical College in 2002, she has worked in dentistry for over 20 years, first as an assistant, then transitioning into management. She lives with her husband and their 3 dogs and their cat in Port Orchard, WA. Her favorite past time is spending time with her grandson and her 3 nephews. Myka loves everything Disney, and vacationing in Disneyland or Maui. She considers herself a dental benefits detective, and feels accomplished when she can maximize a patient’s benefits. Our Dental Hygienists RheaRhea has been with Pacific Ave Dental since September of 2010. She was originally born in San Diego, CA, but has spent much of her life here in Kitsap County. Rhea began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant and graduated from Seattle Central College in 2009 as a dental hygienist, winning the Golden Scaler award in dental hygiene. She has a true passion for helping people, which her patients notice right away when they first meet her. Rhea loves Disney and has a goal of visiting all of the Disney parks and taking a Disney cruise. She enjoys spending time with her family, cleaning, organizing, talking to people, and going on adventures with her husband and son.  MaeWorking with Dr. Hablutzel since 2016, Mae is one of our stellar hygienists. Mae, like her sister Rhea (who is also a hygienist with our office), started her career as a dental assistant, and completed dental hygiene school at Seattle Central College. Originally from San Diego, CA, Mae lives with her husband and their 2 young daughters. She strives to be the best mom she can be, and she loves fishing and crabbing, going to the movies, and crafting with her daughters. She is also an excellent baker (Our staff can attest to this!)!  KaleneIf you don’t love to spend a ton of time at the dentist, request Kalene as your hygienist! Efficiency with thorough dental hygiene services is her expertise! It’s important to her that you feel comfortable, and not judged during your appointment with her. She has been with us since 2020, and is a crucial member of our team with her “can do” attitude. Kalene is originally from Yakima, WA, and she and her husband moved here to Bremerton in 2020. She enjoys hanging out with her husband and her dogs, gardening, and binge-watching the Great British Bake Off or Call the Midwife in her spare time. Our Dental Assistants ReneRene is our most longstanding employee and our lead dental assistant, having been with Dr. Hablutzel since 1996. She grew up in Port Angeles, but has been here in Bremerton for many years. She attended Eaton Technical to attain her dental assisting certificate and has been in dentistry for almost 30 years. If you have met Rene at our office, you know how genuinely caring and knowledgeable she is. She excels at multitasking and knowing what the patient or Dr. Hablutzel needs before it’s articulated. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys playing bingo, and taking trips to the ocean with her family.  CristinaCristina joined our team at Pacific Ave Dental in April of 2018 as a certified dental assistant. She received accreditation with the Dental Assistants National Board, which is no easy feat! She has been working as a dental assistant for over 35 years, and is an excellent team player and a hard worker! When she’s not working with us, she loves to travel and spend time with her 3 beautiful grandchildren.  HeidiHeidi is one of our skilled, knowledgeable and friendly assistants that you will meet at Pacific Ave Dental. She has been with our office since 2020 and has helped Dr. Hablutzel provide care to his patients that is both comfortable and beneficial. She loves spending time with her family, camping, food, and her cats. She lives her life to the fullest, and strives to be the best that she can be! |
